لقد أثبتتها ترجمة فاندايك والترجمة الكاثوليكية (أغناطيوس زياده) على أنها موحى بها من عند الله.
وحذفتها الترجمة اليسوعية ، والترجمة الكاثوليكية (بولس باسيم) ، وكذلك ترجمة كتاب الحياة ، والترجمة العربية المشتركة. دون أدنى تعليق أو توضيح للقارئ عن سبب الحذف.

الحقيقة ما يقوله المشكك خطأ فلا يوجد مخطوطة واحده من مخطوطات انجيل يوحنا المعترف بها حزفت هذا العدد بالكامل. وايضا حتي الترجمات العربي والانجليزي
ولكن الاختلاف علي جزئين الاول هو مقطع صار قدامي والثاني هو علي كلمة مستحق بدل من كفؤ والجزء الاول قدمته في ملف هل تعبير صار قدامي محرف
وندرس في هذا الملف المقطع الثاني وهو لست مستحقا

ودليل اخر هام جدا وهو كتاب الدياتسرون للعلامة تيتان الذي يعود تقريبا لسنة 160 م

ولهذا قد يكون نوع من التنسيق الذي حدث في البردية 66 و 75 فغير كلمة اجيوس بكلمة ايكانوس وبخاصه ان بينهما تشابه
ولكن لا يوجد سبب ان تكون الكلمة الاصلية ايكانوس مثل بقية الاناجيل الثلاثه ويغيرها احد الي اجيوس
واخيرا المعني الروحي
من تفسير ابونا تادرس يعقوب واقوال الاباء
كأن يوحنا يقول إن المسيح أكرم مني قدرًا وأبهى مكانًا.
v لم يعمد يوحنا بالروح لكنه كرز بالمسيح وبالروح... إذ لم يعتمدوا لا باسم المسيح ولا بالإيمان بالروح القدس لم يستطيعوا نوال سرّ العماد[196].
القديس أمبروسيوس
v كأنه يقول: "لا تبدأوا تظنوا أن كل شيء هو في معموديتي، فلو أنها كاملة، لما قام آخر بعدي ليقدم معمودية مختلفة. معموديتي هي مجرد ظل وصورة. لكن يأتي من يضيف إليها الحقيقة. حتى أن مجيئه نفسه بعدي يُظهر بالأحرى كرامته. لو أن الأولى كاملة لما كان يوجد موضع للأخرى. الذي يأتي بعدي أكثر كرامة وبهاءً... ولكي يظهر عدم إمكانية المقارنة قال: "الذي لستمستحقًاأنأحل سيور حذائه"[197].

v إنه لأمر عظيم أن نحمل حذاء يسوع، ولكنه لأمر عظيم أيضًا أن ننحني إلى أموره الجسدية التي حدثت أسفل (على الأرض)، وذلك لكي نتأمل صورته أسفل وأن نحل كل صعوبة تخص سرّ التجسد، كما لو كانت كل سيور حذائه. إنه لأمر واحد هو رباط الغموض وكأنه مفتاح المعرفة (لو ١١: ٥٢) الواحد. فإنه حتى الأعظم بين مواليد النساء (لو ٧: ٢٨) لم يجد في نفسه الكفاءة أن يحل أو يفتح هذه المصاعب، حيث أن الذي ربط وأغلق وحده يمنح لمن يريد أن يحل ويفتح سير حذائه والأمور المغلقة[198]
v إن كانت العبارة الخاصة بالحذاءين لها معناها الخفي يلزمنا ألا نعبر عن ذلك. أظن أن التجسد، حيث أخذ الابن لحمًا وعظامًا هو أحد الحذاءين، ونزوله إلى بيت الجحيم أينما وُجد، والرحلة بالروح إلى السجن هو الحذاء الآخر. جاء في مز ١٥ عن النزول إلى بيت الجحيم: "لا تترك نفسي في الجحيم" (مز ١٥: ١٠)...[199]
العلامة أوريجينوس
v ليس أحد هو العريس سوى المسيح الذي يقول عنه القديس يوحنا: "من له العروس فهو العريس" (يو 29:3). لذلك هؤلاء (موسى ويشوع بن نون وغيرهما) خلعوا أحذيتهم، أما حذاؤه فلا يقدر أحد أن يحل سيوره، وكما قال القديس يوحنا: "أنا لست مستحقًا أن أحل سيور حذائه" [27][200].
القديس أمبروسيوس
يستعيرالبابا غريغريوس (الكبير) عن العلامة أوريجينوس فهمه للحذاءأنه يشير إلى الجسد القابل للموت، لأنه مصنوع من جلد الحيوانات بعد ذبحها. وكأن الكلمة بتجسده ارتدى الجسد القابل للموت مخفيًا لاهوته. ولم يكن ممكنًا ليوحناأن يحل سيوره، أي أن يتعرف بعد على أسراره خلال روح النبوة[201]
v كيف تواضع جدًا! لذلك ارتفع جدًا!، لأن من يتواضع يرتفع (لو 14: 11)... لقد قال: "لا أنا بل هو"، أما هم فقالوا: "نحن". يوحنا غير مستحق أن يحل سيور حذائه. كم كان تواضعه لو أنه قال أنه مستحق لذلك، وأما بقوله: "يأتي بعدي من هو كان قبلي، الذي لست مستحقًا أن أحل سيور حذائه" فقد ظهر تواضعه عظيمًا. عندما يقول أنه غير مستحق لفعل هذا. بالحقيقة كان مملوءً من الروح القدس الذي بهذا عرف كخادم سيده، وتأهل أن يكون صديقًا عوض خادم[202].

والمجد لله دائما
