يقول البعض ان العدد الذي في 1 تيموثاوس 6: 5 " و منازعات اناس فاسدي الذهن و عادمي الحق يظنون ان التقوى تجارة تجنب مثل هؤلاء " محرف لان بقية التراجم العربي حذفت جملة تجنب مثل هؤلاء.

الحقيقة لا اجد سبب مقنع لاضافة مقطع مثل هذا ولكن الحذف هو كالعادة في بعض مخطوطات النص الاسكندري القديم الذي يميل الي الحذف وانتشر من هذا

اما عن اسلوب بولس الرسول 

رو 16: 17  واطلب اليكم ايها الاخوة ان تلاحظوا الذين يصنعون الشقاقات والعثرات خلافا للتعليم الذي تعلمتموه واعرضوا عنهم.

 

2تس 3: 6  ثم نوصيكم ايها الاخوة باسم ربنا يسوع المسيح ان تتجنبوا كل اخ يسلك بلا ترتيب وليس حسب التعليم الذي اخذه منا.

 

2تي 3: 5  لهم صورة التقوى ولكنهم منكرون قوّتها.فاعرض عن هؤلاء.

فهو يحمل نفس فكر بولس الرسول واسلوبه مع اختلاف التعبيرات

واخيرا المعني الروحي 

من تفسير ابونا تادرس يعقوب واقوال الاباء

يقول الرسول: "علّم وعظ بهذا" ماذا يقصد "بهذا"؟ أي بما سبق فأعلنه بروح المسيح، روح التقوى العملية في المسيح يسوع ربنا. هذه التي إن انحرف عنها أحد ليتكلم من عنده حسب الحكمة البشرية وليس بما يعلمه الروح القدس (١ كو ٢: ١٣) يكون متصلفًا ومتكبرًا. فإن الكبرياء يحوّل الإيمان إلى مماحكات ومباحثات غبية تفسد حياة الإنسان الروحية، وتنزع منه روح التقوى، بل وتدفع الكنيسة كلها إلى الحسد والخصام والافتراءات والظنون الرديئة، فتنشأ منازعات فاسدة كلها خبث ودهاء واحتيال، ليس فيها شيء من الحق. بهذا تتحول التقوى إلى تجارة، إذ يعمل أصحاب المنازعات لا لحساب المسيح وبنيان الكنيسة، وإنما لحسابهم الخاص. لذا يؤكد الرسول: "تجنب مثل هؤلاء".

يعلقالقديس يوحنا الذهبي الفم على العبارات السابقة: [لا ينبع التصلف عن المعرفة، إنما عن عدم المعرفة، فمن يعرف تعاليم التقوى يميل بالأكثر إلي التواضع. من يعرف الكلمات المستقيمة لا يكون غير مستقيم]، كما يقول: [من يعرف ما لا يلزم معرفته فهو عديم المعرفة، والكبرياء تنشأ عن عدم المعرفة[146].]

يتحدث القديس كبريانوس عن خطورة هؤلاء الهراطقة المتصلفين الذين يقسمون الكنيسة ويفسدون الإيمان، قائلًا: [يقول الرسول"لا يغركم أحد بكلام باطل، لأنه بسبب هذه الأمور يأتي غضب الله على أبناء المعصية فلا تكونوا شركاءهم" (أف ٥: ٦-٧). ليس هناك علة للانخداع بكلماته الباطلة والاشتراك معه في فساده. اهرب من مثل هذا. أتوسل إليك وأرجوك يا من تسكب صلوات يومية للرب، يا من ترغب في أن تنسحب إلى الكنيسة خلال رأفات الله، يا من تصلي من أجل سلام الله الكامل (الكنيسة) الأم وللأولاد (المؤمنين). لتلتحم طلباتك وصلواتك مع طلباتنا وصلواتنا، ولتختلط دموعك بنحيبنا. لنحذر الذئاب التي تفصل القطيع عن الراعي. تجنب لسان الشيطان السام، الذي هو مخادع وكذاب منذ بدء العالم، يكذب لكي يخدع، ويداهن لكي يضر، يعد بالحسنات لكي يبث شرورًا، يعد الحياة ليقدم موتًا... يعد بالسلام لكي لا يتحقق السلام، وبالخلاص حتى لا يبلغ الخاطيء للخلاص، ويعد بالكنيسة مع أنه يبذل كل الجهد لكي يدفع كل من يؤمن به إلى الهلاك تمامًا خارج الكنيسة[147].]
